 Equal Education, Khayelitsha, Western Cape

I am a civil society leader making my mark both as a member of the Social Justice Coalition and Equal Education, both based at the Isivivana Centre in Khayelitsha.

Despite my youth, I have held important leadership positions including positions at Social Justice Coalition and Equal Education (serving as Equal Education’s Deputy Chairperson).

I am a Junior Organizer, and Deputy Chair of its National Council. Also a leader in the Young African Leadership Initiative YALI (Pretoria), Activate in 2018, and EE Organizer that set up 57 school libraries in South Africa.

I think I am a leader in many ways, as an “Equalisers, facilitator, community Leader.”

At Equal Education, I help develop valuable organising skills, allowing young people to grow and thrive in their social justice work.

I have also been involved in facilitating for Equal Education’s Political Education Teach Programme as a facilitator, and have been facilitating on their Safety and Sanitation work.
